not two wheels - but worth a mention. top down this light little car was close to riding a bike. No roll bar made me nervous when Alex would use it. I will miss it.

New front tire July 2013

Before the Hollister Rally I got the new Pirelli Angel GT. Gone is the winged angel pattern that wears off after 600 miles to expose a demon face on the ST. It's all business for this sport touring tire. Extra thicker tread and modified channel for the wet. Suppose to be longer lasting compound - we'll see. So now I have the ST on the rear and GT up front.

Took it slow and easy down to Hollister to add scrub in miles to the first 100. It was good to be out in the 75 breezy conditions smelling the strawberries growing by the highway. Very crowded people wise in town but, traffic moved well. Need to change my oil and filter before Laguna MotoGP.

Monterey Photo Shoot for SU13

Getting started. Swap out bikes. A starter fails before we get on the 101.
Lunch and off we go. Fog sat in all day. Big wind. Sunset did not cooperate. You have an idea in your mind and you know sometimes a plan does not come together. That's life.

Not all the way to the observatory. Just 1/2 hour up on the smoother curves to the first ridge summit. Grass still green and tall.
